Local Student Selected as Contest Winner
Thirteen-year-old Brianna Davis, a seventh-grade student at McCracken Middle School, was chosen at random as the winner of the New Smile for a New School Year contest.
Local families entered through the Bluffton Orthodontics Facebook page for the opportunity to receive a free set of braces. The practice later became Miler Orthodontics.
Why the Contest Mattered to Brianna’s Family
Brianna’s mother, Leea Davis, said the family had considered braces for several years. Winning the contest gave them an opportunity to begin treatment as Brianna started seventh grade.
Her family hoped braces would help her feel more comfortable with her smile. Brianna was also excited to choose pink bands for her new braces.
Meet Brianna
Brianna enjoys science, art, and spending time with her rescue dog, Lulu. She hopes to become a veterinarian when she grows up.
The contest allowed Brianna to begin treatment with Dr. Miler and the orthodontic team.
An Early Bluffton Community Event
The New Smile for a New School Year contest gave a local student the opportunity to begin braces treatment and marked one of the practice’s early community events in Bluffton.
